I’m so happy to have a place like Dandelion - Specialty Coffee here in Buxton. The service is always really friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is amazing. I had a latte and it was delicious — really smooth and full of flavour. It’s such a lovely spot to relax, and it’s great to have somewhere like this in town. Highly recommend!

The coffee here is seriously good - specialty coffee that actually tastes different from the usual chain stuff. The baristas you can tell care about getting it right. Their cake selection is incredible - I’ve probably worked my way through half the display by now and haven’t had a bad one yet. Their bagels are brilliant too - the sourdough bagel dough is honestly the best I’ve had anywhere, with that perfect texture you just can’t get from regular chain shop bagels. If you’re in Buxton and want the best coffee in the area, this is definitely the place to go.

Fantastic coffee. I got a Cortado with Washed Geisha by Taith beans and the notes were so pronounced !!! Definitely on the expensive end but you get what you paid for. Keep up the passion! My friend really loved the giant chocolate hazelnut cookie too.

This is one of the best specialty coffee shops I've been to. There's a lot of variety in the guest coffees, and they're all really unique. They also make some really good, seasonal drinks, that I've never had in other specialty coffee shops. The pour over and flat white I also had we're exceptional. The staff are super friendly, and it's such a welcoming environment, plus it's also dog friendly! Whenever I'm back in Buxton, it's going to be my first stop. I honestly can't recommend it enough, if you're in Buxton, you've got to go.

Super nice specialty coffee shop in the centre of Buxton! Makes a great cycle stop or cafe trip. Really nice coffee and a great selection of beans that you can buy too. I didn’t try any of the bakery options but they all looked great. Would definitely recommend as one of the only specialty coffee shops in Derbyshire!

We came here 12 months ago and loved it. We were in the area and made a beeline to come back. Superb coffee with different bean choices without being pretentious. Highly recommend.

Fantastic, independent coffee house with a great selection of coffees and foods. I visit most weeks and thoroughly enjoy Dandelion's uniquely passionate take on brewing different coffees. I'm learning about how various beans, climate, and countries of origin matters, and as I take my coffee black, there are many aspects to what flavours win out in the end and Roy is generous in sharing his knowledge in this field. The owners' passion for coffee totally permeates this place. The coffee house is situated in the town centre, opposite the crescent in Buxton, and close to the Spring Gardens shopping street, so there's always a wide variety of different customers visiting here, and an impressive number of regular patrons. The atmosphere is contemplative, so I can get work done or reading, and I often find myself enjoying conversations with other guests or, indeed, the owners themselves. Dandelion is certainly different to other cafés, and I find their emphasis on the coffee itself, what sets it apart, and far above, most other places I visit. Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely place! We tried the sea salt and cocoa iced coffees on a very warm day - the perfect choice and delicious! We sat outside with our pooch who took advantage of the bowl of water, and enjoyed a hazelnut and chocolate cookie too - can't wait to return!
